Sound the silver trumpets, put forth the call to arms
For the maiden Marsha has gulled us with her charms
She sings those words of loving; to quest for her we go
She smiles us in beguiling, to place our works on show

She stand amid the ramparts, to fight for her we must
For she has wished this birthday will be a time of trust
Her quest from her this season, to hear those words of love
We dare not ask the reason but heed to her behove

She waves the prize of reckoning, a smile from her fair lips
And we in quest of barding give praises from the slips
A poet's quest her asking, to lift her heart in soar
And because she gives so much, can we not give back more?

So write your words aplenty in words and in your song
And offer up your voices - good wish in birthday throng
For Marsha stands here waiting, for wishes good to flow
She would beg the poetry from Deer and even Toe

She does not ask for miracles, a line or two will do
To lift her flagging spirits and show you love her too
This lady of the laughing light calls you out today
So come and show your honour to this her birth of day.

And I the scribe from foreign lands, will take your words into her hands
So make the wishes warm and bright for they must last many a night.

Another slice of your dreamy poetry

Your voice guides me and helps me soar

Keth, you sweet dear lady:  that was probably one of the single most beautiful poems for a birthday i have EVER read.
