In my opinion
My royal dominion
Extends to a house filled with dust
My servants are shirking
Where'er grime is lurking
And so I will clean, for I must

Dust bunnies are rising
In hordes unsurprising
As in a blind frenzy, I clean
My royal skirts whishing
While dishes I'm dishing
And frankly I don't care a bean

I whisk in a flurry
Those dirt bits might worry
But they'll not be missed in my search
I fill my horizon
With dirt that's arising
In seeking, I crawl and I lurch

Each crevice and corner
Like little Jack Horner
Is cleaned spit and polished in vain
For too soon in creeping
Dust bunnies are sneaking
In a month, I'll be cleaning again

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

Kethry--I have lived this poem, but reading about it is much more delightful.

To maintain clean and neat
Is a quite simple feat..
It's no problem to keep a house orderly.
But you're working too hard
To achieve that reward..
Every month? Sweetheart, just do it quarterly!

Mmmm....better not come to my place then LOL

or...maybe you should

LOL I'm giving up on cleaning.
Just cleaned the kitchen floor and then the dogs walked in after their stroll in wet clay and dirty ditches

Hey Kethry...want to come to my place?  We're going through some remodeling, I'm sure I'll be able to find you dust bunnies, and more!
