lightening rips the sky apart,
thunder gives voice
to long sought after truths,
revelations come in flashing illuminations,
as i enter
the seamingless gateless gate
in anticipation of grasping at some thing,
longing to stop the moment,
snap the picture,
too soon it all eludes me again,
teased ,never satisfied,
i'm left hungry, always,
coming and going
in circles, i weave my own webs,
beginnings and endings
over and over
and nothing sticks,
most days,
but these dreaded shadows

xray shadows? perhaps just spots that show how many times your soul has been touched, and you have given up a part of your heart?

Michele,

This is a wonderful poem and you have captured exactly my 'growing process' and how elusive the little gems of wisdom are. The flash of insight gone before I can even remember it or mull it over and fit it into 'me'....
Just outside the realm of understanding, yet so close I can sense it but not 'get  it'. I like this poem a great deal.

Thanks, Pat

It's like haunting yourself, isn't it?

sigh.

Hugs.
