barely noticed,
spared

I am fascinated with leaves too.

I once watched a seemingly dead leaf whirl in the wind just hanging on...and I kept watching, and it kept hanging on...twirling like a little windmill. Then someone called me to go inside, and I got up and saluted the damn thing, chuckle, saying ALOUD, "You outlasted ME."

Enjoyed this much lady. Made me remember that moment, and I thank you.

Michelle, I like leaves on the trees, too. I like to look at the different shapes and sizes of leaves. They're pretty to me.....

thanks , ladies,
i seem to have a strange obsession with them, i really feel them as they are born, and go through their life cycle,
i want to live in a warm place, but everytme i go to florida i come home and practically
kiss the trees up north

The beauty of leaves is the renewal in spring. They hang on as a reminder of whats in the past only to be replaced by the hope of the future. Nice topic to write about!
