standing on a shadow's lace

Waiting On Tomorrow

night’s lace
wraps me
like a secret
a size too small
where my skin
feels its kisses
in the spaces

your presence
is on
every wall here
where you
have been
painted in
light hues

you are here
but sleeping
in another bed
alone

and through space
your whispers
soften
my loneliness
anticipating tomorrow

nicely done..concise..and the images as well as the thoughts strong...

as usual..I enjoyed...and admire the tight form you use..wasting no word and weaving it all together tightly...
