Keeping hum-drums on their toes
that's the fun I love the most

I stroll down Main St in a rented clown suit
laughin' & wavin' at cars that toot

I run into Hallmark on a lazy winter's day
screaming at the top of my lungs " are you open on Thursdays? "

I ride the city bus downtown
singin' over & over the wheels on the bus go round & round

I requested an old Pizza Hut number
so when I answer " Spankin' Nuns " people get flustered

I strolled by a police training area
wearin' a T that said " pork gives me diarrhea "
I almost got arrested for that one
but all in all it was awful good fun

I call a taxidermist requesting strange quotes
" how much to stuff a racoon? a possum? a goat? "

I dress up as a nun just to please me
to go bar hopin at a place named Lee's
what a site I am to see goofin off on kareokee
I boogie on down to Okie from Muskogee
shakin' a tin cup labeled " Tips Please "

keepin' hum-drums on their toes
that'sthe fun I love most!

* sometimes I get bored murdering Tupperware, a change of diet is always good *

Leona, ROTFLMAO that stands for Rolling on the floor laughing my *anti-front* off.....

I started reading it .... and the more I read the more out loud it became.  I remember doing some of these things in my wild and crazy youth... Standing under the clock in the main hall of highschool with 3 wristwatches strapped to each arm, asking passers by if they can tell me what time it is..... sweeping the surface of my empty desk wildly while asking the mangy haired kid in front of me to please keep his "pets" on a leash.

This was a great write to come home and read.

Cherish the good memories of the past and look forward to the adventure called Tomorrow. But above all... be kind to yourself today.

You are too much! Still smiling thinking of some of your shenaigans...
Even if you didn't do it, your sense of humor and ability to write it is great. Thanks for the laughs...

(big hugggsssssssss) Oh Leona, this is very intriguing, sweet friend, I would always love to rebel against that Tupperware, Stouffers and Sara Lee jargon, here's to the real thing, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Leona, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

OH yes... I can see you're contending for our "PiPvamp" of the year award... A fine job you're doing, I must say... I've gotta say, I've been seen meandering about an airport or two in a Groucho mask.. among other silly stuff... Welcome to the fold... There's much mischief to be had among us...
