~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
   Sometimes I think
   that we spend
   more time
   worrying about
   and agonizing over
   the crumbling
   skeletons
   tucked away
   in our closets,
   than the
   monsters
   we just might
   be creating
   in the
   here and now.
Excellent thought here Chris!
How very very true...
At the moment I don't have much room for anything...let alone skeletons..
so better not create more until I make room.
Good write!
Chris, lots and lots of wisdom here. Now, how do you propose we get rid of them?
I say we put them on a spaceship and send them packing.
Chris, Now that's thought provoking!!! could it be that we create those monsters by trying to keep the skeletons tucked away? HMMM....
(whispering to Nancy.... how could you run out of room in that big stone house???)
Chris, I like this thought provoking poem. I tend to think like Sherry said in her comment, though........
How will we get read of the skeletons and heal from the hurts if we don't first face up to the fact that they're there?
I, personally, have pushed those skeletons back so far that I can't seem to get complete healing from my past hurts....and some are very bad and need to be gone completely.
I'll think that I've dealt with them and threw them away, only to be reminded of them again....then they resurface in my mind.
Is there such a thing as a "mind transplant"?? HaHa!!!!
Ahhh dear Ethel, that is why we call them "skeletons".. they will eventually crumble to dust and we CAN sweep them away. For some reason, we are still wary of them though. Thankyou.
(big hugggsssssssss) I think I do too, yet I remain optimistic even with the new heartbreak I have and all the wraiths, skeletons, and eight-legged rats creeping in my minds attic! (sad sigh) This is deeply poignant, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Chris, thank you for sharing!
May love and light always shine upon you!
Love,
Hi SEA!!! Yes, what's past is past. But, we tend to dwell on it anyway. I'm trying my best to change that habit. thankyou dear poetess for taking the time to read and comment.
