Melt Down

A cell phone, an office phone, a home phone
Voice mail, email
  I need a cocktail

Red lights, green lights, put on hold,
stand on line
  waste of time

Get on home, walk the dog,
pick up the kids
  mine or his?

Asprin, tylenol, coffee or coke
Wasn't sure,
just what's the cure

Morning comes, evening fades
sun comes up, sun comes up, sun comes up, sun comes up, sun comes up...

It's like chasing our own tale...
rarely do we ever catch up,
or give up trying to get ahead of it!

Fun write~ kind of exhausting though!

SG,

Enjoyed. You have captured millions of lives with this....though no longer there, I remember well, what it was like. Liked the title, too.

Inkedgoddess,

When you're a mom who always worry. It doesn't matter how old the kids get, they will always be your kids and you will always be thinking of them. Lucky you, I know I've missed out on this one!

Thanks for stopping in and the feed back.

Love it - we all want to escape all those things. Like that old commercial - "Calgon take me away!" LOL. Hope you get a few moments of peace.

Doesn't sound like much fun but I like the way you did it.

reminds me of a sign hanging in my Uncles shop.  The hurrier I go...the behinder I get.

Loved your take on this...and thought your name at the end made for a perfect ending.
