the ass-end of space

Once more cast down
on knees raw from prayer
to ask When?
When does my time come?
My soul already spread too thin
a shadows cast at setting sun
before the darkness
blankets everything
I am alone
I am forgotten
I am painfully
me...

sorry a moment of weakness...

i dont know if you want the pep talk or the
wake up smack,
but i feel the pain , too,
and its expressed well, so that much i can offer

we all have moments of weakness... and you express it well here. Guess the trick in some ways is to keep on...even when it seems like it isn't going to ever happen..

never apologize for purging...its a must for a poet...
powerful words poet sir...and achingly touching write---well done.

It's over long before her fall from grace, she's never been this far from safe.
Trying to see where it all began, she'll never be the same again.

I agree - don't apologize for putting down the truth of your feelings. That is the entire reason for poetry. We have to get it out sometimes! I can so relate to your words. I was feeling something so similar last weekend. Loneliness and self-pity overcame me. It is hard to fight those feelings when they take over. You expressed it so well.

Enjoyed this moment of truth and honesty; you, saying what many feel.

Very courageous, you are...
