get over it
I got over you

I tried
and i tried
to make an impact
I put you before me
and before anyone or anything else
You played me
and I almost let you win

I uncovered it finally
I learned of your faults
and I realized them
no longer did i ignore them
So now I am angry
Irate
disgusted

How did I let you
dig your way into my heart
How didnt i see the big picture

I was weak to believe
that when you said
"I love you babydoll"
that it was unfeigned
and I gave you a sacred gift
Because I meant it when I said
"I love you too"

So you dug a hole in my heart
all the way to the center
and you were what my life revolved around
I waited and I waited
you kept digging, and digging
and made the mistake of digging too far
you came out on the other side
and you cant get back in
because you make me sick
You made me hate you
and Yes, I do hate you

**I'm rambling, this is something that just occured so its really bugging me..i had to write something and this is what came out of it**

hey thats funny i just replied to your poem.. lol
im by far strong when it comes to this man. i hate him and care for him at the same time. hes got so many issues he cant work out and he hurts me without even trying to.

my first thought was "YEAH! You Go!" but second thought...hate eats you up and it only hurts you. Hope you can forgive and be at peace within yourself.

i think a good case of anger every once in a while makes u human, and alive,
just not to dwell on it
i also like to throw, and give the person a good kick too, rather than bottle it up forever- its hard to walk away when someone treats you like crap

Thanks for your replies.

True, hate does fester and build up if you cant forgive. I hope someday I won't just remember the anger I felt and regret from being so naive <--(sp?)and making a fool of myself... but remember the friendship that we had at one time.
