Gusts of winter winds
Lifting fallen faded leaves
To new heights of joy.

Awaiting springs bloom

Leaves are like dreams
They fade and they fly
I know not where
I know not why.

Wonderful Haiku!  Thank you.

Skirts of twirling leaves
lifted high in pierotte,
landing gracefully.

Nature's overture
playing notes of Winter's song
soften for the spring.

Oh this could go on and on, and on - loved this Bridget.

Thanks to all of you for reading and responding.  Your response is very heartwarming in these winter months.  And for those of you adding additional haikus--WOW!
