Oil and grease
rise
as sweat
on concrete trails
to
destinations
yet unknown,
leaving behind
crumbling foundations
of
long agoes,
remnants
of a
once was
existence.
Clouds
of
dust
obscure rotting
timbers,
melancholy
ruins
of
desolation
as
across a
vultured
sky,
across
a dry
and barren land,
a wind unheard
whispers,
calling,
for
in
the past
one
cannot
die,
just
be
forgotten.

Interesting. Like the last part. I can just see the tumble weed blowing in that ghost town. All those forgotten ones just ghosts now.

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Tim, this is so very true, sweet firend, so many heroes and legends are forgotten as their towns are left without a mayor or ministry to run them and it truly can be desolating! (sad sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Tim, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

I once had the pleasure of visiting a ghost town - I felt the past blowing through me - This is a wonderful deviation from your norm, m'friend....

Hello Tim

How nice to be able to read you again.  The imagery portrayed throughout your words was wonderful and I really enjoyed this one.  I hope all is well in your part of the world.

Take care.....Sue
