Find me on the porch beneath the stars
Spaghetti strapped silk, wool socks and a scarf
Under cover of billowing quilts I await you

Explicated in the giggles saunter your adventures of the day
The interesting parts of us that are different pour forth like wine
And we sip together into sacred spaces where we are one

Find me in the twinkling of this moment bound in silence
As I approach your unsheltered side, warming you within me
Telling you in the language of sweet cider pouring from my lips

In waltz we seek the fireside, to paint with puddings, love designs
Apart to play together, in this hide and seek of whispering hearts
Speaking with these eyes in pools that sparkle with the want of you

Find me soft beneath your weight and muscled strength as we take flight
And take this silk, and take these smiles, and join with me in the full of air
For all that is not, succumbs to so much that is…as we dance in the magic

By the afterglow find me, beside you nibbled ice cream from a single spoon
Red wine sips that toast this elegant relation…this one we make together
Find me deep inside your heart, a molten pool that cannot sleep unspoken

Find me here

Beyond question,  without reservation...

Truly one of your finest...by far.  So many
exceptional metaphors...a lover's poem that
withstands the ages,  to be remembered
always...

This dude,  surely he is blessed to have
such words written.

cleverly written with playful, romantic frivolity.  The pleasant and articulate construction of the phrases are some of the best I have seen in you...and the subject matter is delightful as well!
