Is truth equal
in the pain it causes
to that which a lie inflicts?
Do i really want to see
through your looking glass
of guilt?
Shall i plead to remain
masked
contained
in the temporary shield
of a lie?
Burden of thoughts
they mock me.
Feelings mount upon burden
until they fall
i feel the drop
is imminent.

learning each day, for you and i, our paths have met, i've already learnt that you are love.

Yes,  one can feel the suspense building,
the anxiety of the wait..  Good question,
is the hurt from truth better than the hurt
from not telling all of it,  lying or just
not saying it all?  In the end,  I believe
that truth is far better, for both sides.
Just difficult to accept...on both sides...

Excellent poem,  great depth..

Gemma, I also believe that honesty and truth are better.
Lies and vicious tongues of gossipers have murdered many a person's reputation......

In the end the only judgement that matters is your own, although often that can be tainted too. Still, release yourself from the lie..but then, what the hell do i know?

(big hugggsssssssss) Oh Gemma, if there is anything I hate more than anything in the world, it is to lie, and I have just been lied too a week and a half ago by the one who I loved most of all! (wipes tears) If I ever lie I might as well be condemed forever, I wish for the truth to always fill your heart, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Gemma, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
