Listening to every heart

0 posted 2003-01-11 04:55 PM

One more time, Rod

The keyboard click replaces
the soft shuff of a turned page, but still,
when I go to “that site”
and see “his mind”
from words thoughtfully penned,
oh my gosh,
twenty years ago,
still fitting like tight jeans today,

my own words start
tumbling,

stumbling,

rumbling…

not that I would ever be
as good as,

oh, no….

but in my heart?

Oh yes, in my heart, I would want
to let some lingering sway of silent
sounds
filter through your pupils,
and either slam into,
or featherskim ‘round, your heart,

just a little.

My dream?

Does it matter, at all,
what I dream,

if the keyboard doesn’t click
or the page shuff?

Yep, it matters, Karilea, whether it ever gets seen or not, because it is a part of you! This is lovely. I'm glad we are able to share our hearts here with others!

Just love the words above..

Nodding and smiling here...

when I go to that site!

WOW!  Which Rod?  I know there is one...
just don't remember the name...

I have the same feelings about Shakespeare
and some of the other greats of that era..

Karilea, your words from your thoughts and feelings are just as beautiful....and something that no-one else can write, because they are  YOURS,  and yours alone.

Ok, Serene one...I'll blame bro...

but you read it anyway!  LOL...

who read,
