how much heat is required
to cast a ring of solid gold
can the heat of Her passion
drive away all that is cold
touch me in ways always new
remind me again of the bold
intice me to fall in love again
before this body gets too old

Roulette,  Black Jack,  all games of chance.
Love can be as well.  but somehow,  I think
the odds in love are better..

Don,

I hope so, though I am not a chemist to know how much heat to melt gold, I do know it takes some chemistry to answer the questions in this poem. Not sure if the character has lost interest, or what....sometimes it is scary just wondering, will it last?

Something which has to be worked on, for sure....by both people....

Warm regards, Pat

..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons..
