My head in the clouds I think of you Did you know, I would walk...away forever? Perhaps there was more to me than you, would ever realize? I think back today upon that day as I walk, choking on my pride God's will be done standing on the ledge afraid to jump somehow I feel I'd miss you more then, than even now. Somedays, I hear you in the wind Sometimes, I swore that you were there that I could even smell you, but you...had only come and gone leaving a deep scar, for remembrance Your love taught this one well for today I stand alone while you remain on your throne and I, have become...an Island 4/16/02 Copyright Dennis Hicks |
