A trip in trail of icy air
the contrail streaks here to there.
A sister waits with raisey eyes.
Come on there Sis, bring no surprise.

She scurried not in prim and crop.
Her routine she just didn’t stop.
No doting signs were posted where
she brushed her teeth, and combed her hair.

A routine dame, a common girl
Nothing special, give her a whirl.
The candle that she could not hold
The two of them, not aged or old.

Organize, energize, two words.
‘Nuff to drive away cawing birds.
For two of them just took over
Grand Rapids, run, duck for cover.

To bake and shake a brownie treat
one would cook all things so neat.
The popcorn shared in whispered munch
Man oh man, they sure ate a bunch.

Amanda whirled around the room
on her mother’s long whisking broom.
A trail of shrieks and laughter’s cries
from twinkle feet and raisey eyes.

True friends these two sisters glowing
as they ducked from snowball throwing
A trek of air for one’s arrive..
Now we shall see who does survive.

(For 3 girls...who are having a ball
being together)

Sounds like my slumber parties I use to go to....and we had plenty.  Lots of fun stuff going on. But then I suppose you see this every day..how cool is that?  Loved the read and  your take on this Magnus.

Yeah, Barry. I don't have any sisters, but lots of cousins and friends....we used to giggle at night until my Mom or Dad would make us go to sleep. I don't know what in the world we thought was so funny, but we were so carefree back then....
Good memories this poem brought back, Sir.....
