sighbeguns in canvas coffee
sip gulp swallowed
windless as sails
that hesitate
in empty dresses

you made gravy after breakfast
just for me you said
cause you liked how it looked
on my beard
when I smiled

I watched your fingers
as you stirred
and the bowl was lucky
like a sky
with wings touching under

you said my eyes bothered you,
made messes in places
where you didn't have answers
to wipe them up with
and you might slip

if I got any closer......

ahhh yes...your personifications of emotions are always the centerpieces of your writes...you create the intensity between the muse and poet with them....
very cool to read you again DS...
