Sometimes

I elbow through a maze of thoughts
Attached to me like waves of warts.
They itch in wedged periphery
And twitch my mind in ifery.

They exercise a senior fun
That will not stop until I’m done
For that’s the way of aged play
And my youth has passed away.

From bravery to knavery
I work these thoughts in slavery
The wonders of my gardens glen
Of ecstasies of now and then

I build my castles of old fair
Grout them with a honey’s dare
Watch them glow in ghostly hue
And fall in love with semi-true

It is my visions Shangri-La
And there I’ll shout my last hurrah.

==================================

what you do with internal rhymes blows me little mothy mind

could that verse be any cooler?????

I'll meet you in your mind's sanctuary of Shangri La ...
we'll have tea, Randy, you and me at our party of hurrah.

( and a side order of winkies) *L*

Moths dont care if the flame is real
The moth and flame got a sweetheart deal
Nothing fuels like flirtation
Like need, anger & desperation

JM,
So glad to see you back in full swing. And we will have a tea party at our first stop, Eldorado and then go on to Shangri-la.

Oh good morning, good morning sweet man! How do you find these words to rhyme and put them together to make sense? It just boggles this old brain...

The master of words are you!

Hugs, Marti

(sigh) I'd have to disagree with "sometimes", you always bring innocent joy and blessings ALL the time! (big hugggsssssss) This is a true gem, sweet friend, harrah for Shang-ri-La, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
