Even though I didn't get a chance to give you a name,
From this day forward, with all my heart,
I'll love you just the same.
I can imagine you so perfect,
with your little wings,
And your shiny little halo, doing angel things.
Someone so small and perfect,
should be where you are,
I just wish heaven wasn't quite so far.
Though I never got to hold you
in my arms with love,
I know you're in a better place
with other little angels above.
Everytime I see an angel now,
I'll think of you my dear,
And how different my simple life would be, if only you were here.
Just because you're not by my side,
doesn't change things you see,
Because no matter how things have turned out,
My little angel you'll always be.
