Stereotypes can hurt, oh I know they can
For once I went into a source, and behind the counter was a man.

He studied me as I walked by, a thug, he thought I was.
Because my pants were a little big, and I looked kinda bough.

Then in walks a lady, all prissy and neat
He was too busy watching me to realize she was the thief.

She walked down the aisle while giving him a smile

And oh was he impressed
But his eyes quickly returned to me so he didn''t see the lucky
stuffing a dress.

I burned toward the clerk who hadn''t seen a thing
It was obvious the lady was too quick to be seen

I paid it no mind for I didn''t have the time
I took my item to the counter.

And as I looked into the clerks big brown eyes
the alarm went off and his mouth dropped open in surprise.

For the one he suspected to be the thief was the one he should have
worried the least.

He then looked at "Miss Prissy" and the dress, and sadly bold
the lady she was under arrest.

Antonio, you may have just been writing, but this is so true, sometimes. People look at others who they think don't look just like they think they should and accuse them of wrong-doing.......when actually they whould be watching the ones who look and act just like them.
The outside of a person can be very deceiving, at times.
A good poem that should ,ake people think....  enjoyed.

I've learned in my years of security and loss prevention, never worry about the one that normal people would worry about. Normal...hmmm. I am a people watcher, yaknow...it's a funny job.
