tracatorie imbalances
cause my song to creak
they call me up to stage
while Im tryin to reach my peak

hold on I tell her
her bobbin head in a fury
the chinks are already late
with my spicy red curry

I stumble around backstage
looking for the stage door
a mexican dumb-waiter leads me
with a “cabrone” and “por favor”

the stage lights burn me
I stumble to a hard right
my drummer pushes me back
and I assemble under the limelight

the boys get it rollin
as I ready the attack
when the time finally comes
vocals come rollin like the mack

the rest is a blur
whatever did occur
I woke up in my cabin
chewin on some fur

such is the life
that I’m a surely livin
makes as much sense
as the story I’m a givin
