btw, this will make more sense if you read "Poets Begone" before reading this one.

Looks like poets be back
from their midday/night snack
or they're sneaking some time
to post or read rhyme.

We all seem to be stuck
like a platypus duck
in the poesy muck
of our semi-dried truck.

I was gone for awhile
in an unusual style
stripping my tree
and dripping with glee

that some thing's getting done
in the midst of my fun
hope the rest of you do
accomplish some too.

I thank those who read
and took into their head
all the things that I said
without seeing red.

They number now, seven
who were lifted as leaven
with humor of poes
just under their nose.

Comaraderie's fine
as we lay down our lines
go ahead with your chores
but before hitting the snores,

please come on back by
and leave something quite nigh
to bring tear or sweet sigh
to the compassionate eye.
