Today

Today my mind is whisper still.
Listening for the whippoorwill.
Gentle sounds that ride the breeze
Stimulates that touch of tease.

The beauty of a butterfly
The varied hews in golden skies.
The slightest dew upon my door
The whispered touch of nature’s awe.

The mystery of a meadows lie
The magic of the sun on eye
The fragile scent of earth in mist
The spirit of the essence kissed.

It’s there for all to touch and share.
Within the earth and wind and air.
It is the milk of human need.
And we, the spread of apple seed

It is the miracle of you.
It is the only final view.

Listening to every heart

May I begin your morn just right,
and whisk away the dark of night?
May I be the candle's light
and be a glow within your sight?

Good morning Sy!

You set the sun and hang the moon,
your rhymes even make nature swoon.
Your mind may be whisper still ...
but your verse instills and thrills.

(sigh) An apple a day keeps the doctor away so the logical approach is to take Johnny Appleseed's word and spread the seeds on and on! (big hugggsssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

I think even if it didn't post your name with the poem, I'd know who wrote it!
