Hypocrite By: Noah Eaton 1/6/02 You examine my anatomy Measure my toxicity Study my tolerance for pain Research my praxiology Even when you know I have hyperesthesia Make me cry, improvise a scheme Make a move I can't defend You sacrifice your ears for extra eyes Think I'm prattling, well think again I know well that you're listening But I couldn't help falling for you I thought that your love was telling the truth Objection I'd say if I knew I was fooled But you sustained and overruled You hunted me down like Hera Petrified me with your eyes of Medusa I loved you for who you were But now you've changed Please stay away... All the sentiments you made are ovicidal But you know the verdict is inevitable Keep spinning everything like a ferris wheel But soon you'll know how it feels When the big top falls But I couldn't help falling for you I thought that your love was telling the truth Objection I'd say if I knew I was fooled But you sustained and overruled You hunted me down like Hera Petrified me with your eyes of Medusa I loved you for who you were But now you've changed Please stay away... The minute when you first deeply touched me I thought we were meant to be But I'm just a fool... Interrogated Devastated Retrograded Agitated Is what you've left me feeling In the obituary where I'm digging I truly wish you the best I truly hope you find what you desire But can you taste the pain Can you taste it? Noah, my friend this is a very well written but sad poem...and my heart tells me it is your sadness.... I hope not, but I will say this... you will feel love again, you will love again...you love right now... And you, like all the rest of us, even as we cry...will live through the pain...and a smile will return to your face, just as it did our own... Missed seeing you here!!! |

Intense, Noah. Maybe if you can step back away from this for a short time you'll find a positive lesson in the experience, in spite of all the pain. I think you should go get that big knuffel hug from Titia. Or maybe come downtown to the LoDo Tattered Cover bookstore and cruise the stacks, bump elbows with hundreds of other warm sentient beings? |

if it didnt hurt so bad, you wouldnt have written this so good, heres some straight advice: stay off the internet for love.............i think sometimes our romantic nature forces us to paint people into who we want/think them to be.......until you look into someones eyes,realtime, its all just lightweight puppy love, youre a great guy, kind of cute, though i prefer darker men, but youll be fine in time [This message has been edited by inkedgoddess (01-07-2003 09:31 PM).] |

Noah...Sad my friend. Just give your heart ample time to heal and things will be better. For each feeling of hurt and pain in your heart now shall be replaced with joy and happiness again. For each tear of sorrow that falls now shall be replaced by tears of joy soon. For each sad poem you write may you write a thousand poems of your true happy self that we all love and care about.
