In Sorrowed Times

Interwoven    part 2

to some she seemed in need and want
discovered words to make her feel
lashed it out as if with whip
intent upon attack, her real

then he appeared, despite a brawl
to her a fight in need of win
and so she tempted evil's chance
and danced the words, to his chagrin

he placed his touch, in words, with ease
her back in stiffness countered such
persistence paid, one day came forth
to write the wrong, in blue of touch

she dreamt of he and all his will
his actions thrust upon naive
tempered patience in his calm
and with his charm, in words would weave

'til one day met, this she of he
and he of she, unmasked their chance
tasted each of eyes to eyes
blue to hazel, happenstance

her eyes met his, at first then dropped
in shyness fraught with fear, unknown
yet trusting soul let mind of his
control emotions, once her own

a challenge she, to most on meet
for raging storm, her life had been
a heart destroyed divided, pieced
of missing love, it wearing thin

this be the first, a time uneased
a breath of fresh to whet her taste
but trained was he, from long of past
and left each did, thoughts interlaced...

"Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less."
(Will Moss)

Maureen,
this is spectacular. How could it have been so overlooked? BTTP

~M~

Hmmmmmmm...maybe I was reading between the lines...in any case this is very good. Now, I thought I saw one more.
