Through Her Eyes  (part 1)

her vision has begun to fade
bordered on the edge of blue
blended with the days of gray
and drinking empty without you

a shadow followed once, a course
pretense, in all seductions whim
telescoped her every worth
and altered, bitter sweet of him

her eyes once joined the sight in trust
engaged in fantasies of bliss
but nevermore her heart would hide
as lips escaped, in touch of kiss

his eyes were that of blue on blue
in sadness, reigned from sorrowed times
back street shrouded, stories masked
the inner strength of outer rhymes

the elements of one on one
were left to be in hands of fate
each dawn surprised the morrow's gain
each night possessed a slower gait.

and so this story to be told
a first, this of, in parts of voice
written words in soft, decry
of she, no longer blue of choice

"Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less."
(Will Moss)
