Of earthly browns,
and hellish reds
romanced in time
by yellow hues
fruitful orange is born
it's said
to feed hunger of
distant blues

Across fields of green
to bleached out sands
and mountains top
virgin white snows
tarnished marooned
by empty hands ...

Souls of colour
paint tomorrows.

Fear is a blindness, heart is the cure.   -   C. Belville 02

And you are quite the artist with words, painting a wonderful palette..

I like:

"fruitful orange is born
it's said,
to feed hunger of
distant blues"

very well written, I enjoyed.

Warm regards,  Pat

We are so many colors, ever changing,
ever painting our world.

I am always taken by the rich beauty
of your poetry Craig.

Such a lovely swirl this was.

Loved the imagery in this Craig, could almost feel the palette in my hands as I read this. Vincent could have written these words.

Lori -
One can only be as rich as the color which they portray .... such as your Bluesy way.
Thank you my friend, for your words, your comments and your thoughts.

Boh -  thank you

Ggirl - thank you for your kind words ... may each color love you in return.

Dixie - thank you but I feel ... tinted by the masterful strokes I have seen from your own brush
Would love an opportunity to try a dream or two if you find the time.

KC - I am lost for words .... thank you for your gracious comment. I am honored to have found and touched you so deeply.

Nancy -  always a pleasure, glad you liked.

Gemma - Hello, yes I have been away for a bit but promise to do my best to shine a little more of my light this way.
Thank you for your time and comments.

Chris -  always a pleasure to share my thoughts with those who enjoy their warmth. Thank you for the read and comments.

The canvas awaits the colors
rich in beauty.....
ME~

I sing to life
To it's tragic beauty
To pain and strife
Let all that dances through me
The rise and the fall, I lived through it all
