a black case sat in front
of his bulk, eyes dead to a
world lightly passing him
from a window seat commuting home.
he fiddled with the worn
fake leather, a flap comming
loose, aimlessly lost in
his own thoughts of time.
how simple the days had
been for a burden so great,
one to live with regrets
to live with the tears.
how simple to forget whom
he had been at any on point,
to justly become a cog
on life's little game.
