Listening to every heart

Long shadows

Long shadows greet our early morn
As promise stretches this, our day.
So, kiss me sweet good morn and bless
Our golden trails that lay
Before us like a promise, kept
Then dry the tears that might be wept.

Long shadows greet our early dusk
No matter, stature does not mind,
For looming lengthy is this love
Where two in blend shall bind,
Before us is the promise, kept
Long gone are tears that were once wept.

Trust long shadows of two who stand
To greet days come nights, hand in hand.

Sunshine - your words always potent, rhyming like two hands holding in long shadows...

Oh so very pretty dear lady.
You are really getting good with that camera too!
Beautiful combination of words and picture.

Enjoyed!!  I've always found shadows images as fascinating as those imagined in the clouds, nice pic too!!

I love this Karilea...the shadow reminds me of the walking trees in the Lord of the Rings, The Two Towers
