I’m too open
Wearing my heart on my sleeve
It’s open to all your disease

I’m tired of anger and hurt
I want to go to a place
Where the colour will drain from my world

It will be easy
Then I can slide down
Into a calm dreamless sleep

Hopefully never awoken
So I never have to see
The misery and the pain

Maybe it will be mindless
Boring and dull
But at least it won’t hurt

I won’t be left with the bruises
And the grazes
And the scars

So leave me now
To hide in this hollow
And guide myself to rest

Alone
Suffering only as lonely

"Some men see things as they are and say why? I dream things that never were and say why not?"

OH, Rosie, it sounds as if you need a warm smile today. Wish I could send you a branch of lavendar to brighten your day.
