Had to go down on knees you see to find this lovely weed
It's flowering white and with the wind it's spreading all the seed
The little flowers starlike shaped one hardly ever sees
Only by me on my knees down and I suppose by bees

I didn't catch the sharpness of the flow'ring waving reed
But I don't think it really matters, that's my opinion indeed
The silhouet against the sky and undergoing sun
Who cares if reed is sharp or not as long as I have fun

The storm had swept him of his feet, he won't get up no more
He's laying down in ever rest and long will I adore
The beauty he's displaying now, a window passing through
To see the land behind the trunk, you know, I love that too

I can't stop taking pictures of the nature that surrounds me
It's stillness and it's beauty makes my mind go ever free
A silhouette of poplar trees, my land in sun's white light
It is a pleasure to share with you this quiet landscape sight

Like scattered leaves...my words will flow

Titia darling heart, don’t look now but you’ve written something incredible again. Truly is it necessary for you to excel in whatever and whichever style you write? I’ll answer my own question yes it is because you cannot write anything that is not superb.

You know I truly love this from you, as always darling heart it is exquisite, and you are by far too too talented. I love this utterly utterly utterly

Love and warm stuff
as always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire

Titia, this is lovely and I enjoyed your pictures.

The stars will shine when I am gone,
the earth will turn on as before,
the gulls, still race along the shore,
the morning star, still kiss the dawn

You have the eye of an artist, like your father!

I hope you are safe, I've heard there are terrible storms and flooding in places in Europe. Stay safe Titia!

WOW!!!   WOW!!!   WOW!!!   WOW!!!

Titia this poem is one of your very best.
It is so educational, so rhythmic and the pictures are just magnificent.

Thank you so very much for sharing them.
Please, please take more!

Hugs dear friend, Marti

"Who cares if reed is sharp or not as long as I have fun"
And we all cherish these moments with you.
On hands and knees...sometimes the only way we can see the tiniest beauties of life.

Marsha darling, too much honor you give me dear, but I love you for it

Auguste, thanks for stopping by.

Nan, you sweet lady, you live in a beautiful place yourself, I just loved it there.

Helen, thanks, hope to see you next time

Poet deVine, thanks for the compliment. We are fine though, the water is below us in Belgium, but here too you can see how high the groundwaterlevel stands. It's all muddy where my sheep are, the roads too.
It's frightening though for some people at the other side of the country, where the big river Maas is coming from France, bringing loads of water. Some houses have been floated several times the last couple of years. Never had so much rain as the last days. In Belgium an old couple were swept into a small river and the man could safe himself but he saw his wife drowning, poor guy.

Duncan, this is the second this week already, you must have missed the first one LOL

Marti, thanks I will, can't stop anyway.

Midnitesun, beauty always lies in the tiny things

Martie, thanks my friend, glad you enjoyed.

Eagle Scorpion, thanks and I agree, the open fields are more than beautiful.

that was sweet and earthly. I allways love blowing seeds, watching them fly away into the sky. You are really great!

Never be normal!
