Smiles, sparkling eyes and occassional laughs,
Fill the room as they drain from my heart.

(Fireworks outside, it's one past midnight,
for a second the world's as fresh as morning dew.
Condensed serenity on turned backs fills darkness with light,
but evaporates as old troubles and problems form a new queue.

Your blue eyes appear as I light my white candle with rainbow dreams,
Your long brown hair flows through my hands,
Your warmth brings me summer and mellow streams,
and your kiss feels far softer than oceanic sands.)

But my candle's blown out by solitude's draughts;
You've never been here for we're still apart.
