I know you can't remember
your mind hasn't the time
for little girl rhyme.

The vision is mine...

Of darkest gloom

   tiny angel

          across the room
with outstretched hand
and you
   unable to stand

yet pushing away...

      Remember that day

when you broke the heart of the child
          stole her smile
           and forever locked
her

     away.

I remember a little rhyme that little girls used to jump rope to?.

A'rooty toot toot'
We are the girls from the girl scout troop,
We don't smoke
And we don't chew,
And we don't go with the bastards that do!
