State of constant confusion!

"Walking Alone"

Walking alone in yesterday's dreams
Finding tomorrow is not what it seems
Living my life day after day
Watching as you slowly walk away
Recalling old memories of love, once true
Knowing now, there's nothing left for me to do
So, I go on dreaming of love evermore
Yet, never forgetting all those who came before
So many memories, so little time
Keep them tucked in the back of my mind
Holding onto the good times, supressing the bad
If only I'd known back then all that I had!

I'm somewhere in between what is real and just a dream - Lifehouse

Jeffrey,

I think we have all walked this mile a time
or two in our lives...I know I certainly
have...

Hi Jeffrey...good to see you here.  Life is like that..we trip and fall and remember the ache.

Will the wind remember the names it has blown in the past?
With this crutch, its old age and wisdom, it whispers no ... this will be the last.

If only we knew what we had...only loss seems to make us appreciate it fully.  Wonderful poem, I enjoyed reading.

Hi, Jeffrey....
Don't believe we've met. I'm garysgirl/Ethel. I must've have come here when you were gone. It sounds like you've been missed, so I'm glad to see you back, too.
I enjoyed your poem and hope to read more of your poetry......

Jeff,

This poem is very good. I'm a bit confused by it's words though. I hope this is not true to life for you right now.
