I wrap it around me
That loneliness
That sharp pain
So long dormant
has awakened again

I looked to it
For my hope died
My love passed
So I know only
My loneliness lasts

Beauty is fleeting
Youth is soon past
Nothing remains
but the Cold
lonliness retains

Take a good look at my face
Well, don't my smile look out of place
look a little closer its easy to trace
The tracks of my tears

Quite a down poem for the new year but it's a very truthful render to many.
I like the reality aspect.
