The symposium lay still
Life before it had exhaled
Capturing tranquillity
In its final gasp

There were no speakers
No magical spoken
or written words
Quiet thoughts,
Different days ,
took their side

Crumpled bits
of paper lay
strewn about
Only their author
knew their content
Blood soaked,
the empty cartridge

Not finding the words
Insane and pain
had rained havic
on the mind
Others had wondered
about this person
Their thoughts were fleeting
Chalking it up to
words of ought have beens

Somehow,
Days had led to now
Time had placed the shadows
Sins defined the outcome
the moment,
this instant,
Where all was now still.
Quiet had rained
encored the refrain
And the listening
to the purists and ones
with all the answers,
had only...just begun

Did you know him?

Perhaps we've all had an inkling of him... and yet we may not have known him at all...

Very interesting.

My perspective of me is different,
As I look out from within,
Than that of others on the outside,
Trying to look in.     ©spirit
