(This feels like a New Years Desolution to me today!  )Angels Or Demons By: Noah Eaton 1/1/03 So this is how it feels to say goodbye And this is how it feels to have one last resort You said it's all going to stop and it's all my fault You said because of me you will never be nice to anyone And now you say there's no chance that we'll meet There's no chance that I will make my love mine You said the funny thing was I couldn't care less You went out of your way then say I've made a mess Now my love has died Laying like a canary on the birdcage base Feel like I'm heading for another breakdown And I can't stand to look at your face Now my love is dead I am petrified like the Stonehedge Like a fugitive in an empire Joanna, goodbye It was 5:30 late this afternoon Read your abrupt message, you call me pathetic And this will be the last time I call you up This will be the next time I feel like a lunatic Now my love has died Laying like a canary on the birdcage base Feel like I'm heading for another breakdown And I can't stand to look at your face Now my love is dead I am petrified like the Stonehedge Like a fugitive in an empire Joanna, goodbye So this is how it goes, I should've known My oceans have been contaminated, I'm wearing broken bones And as you run away from this castle, my Gwenevere Know I will always love you, even when you'll never be here Now my love has died Laying like a canary on the birdcage base Feel like I'm heading for another breakdown And I can't stand to look at your face Now my love is dead I am petrified like the Stonehedge Like a fugitive in an empire Joanna, goodbye And this will be the last time I call you up This will be the next time I feel like a lunatic I'm sorry, Joanna I will never forget loving you... Oh Noah.... This is so sad. My heart goes out to you, dear friend. I am speechless, don't know what to say. Just that I'm so sorry. One more thing, Noah...... Why did Joanna's sister have to tell you this? Are you sure that it's the way Joanna feels? "Love makes the world go around" |

Noah, What sister? In this poem? Noah, true love does not die. Have faith and trust God in all matters, even and especially of the heart. Rejection hurts and choices we make that don't turn out ~yet~ doesn't mean they won't. Patience and perseverance are such hard lessons to learn. They don't happen overnight. And they are not free. We pay for them. Really takes a chunk out of us to achieve, ~painfully~ whittling us down to the sparkling gems we eventually become, in God's eyes. My heart is with you Noah. Disappointment of love not returned is just that. I weep with you. God be and ~is~ with you. You are not alone and He is working on this very problem of yours as I write this note. Perhaps she is just embarrassed over being made such a public figure, if you will. An honor, for sure, but for one so young, might be a little bewildering and overwhelming. Also, I've found sometimes backgrounds make a difference when I've dealt with romance. Sophistication, education, environmental conditioning all matter. When love is from God, it works, no matter these facets, but, takes time. Hang in there Noah, and stay in the day and pray. Love ya, Hugs, Pat  Hugs and love, Pat ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |

Oh Noah, my heart is breaking for you. I don't understand the sister part either, but I sure can feel your pain and sorrow in this write. I am so sorry you and Joanna are having problems. Oh Noah. I have few words of comfort to offer. Just remember, a few of us, no, many poets and friends have been crushed by love's cold unkindness as well as its tender warmth. You are smart to let your heart beat out the pain freely. Holding it inside only makes it hurt longer.  |

I’m so sorry to hear of your pain Noah. Unfortunately, heartbreak is a sign of being alive, it’s also a sign that there was someone precious in our life, no matter how fleeting it may have been.
