Listening to every heart

Perhaps

having shared too much,
or not enough,
but feeling withered,
I find me,
crawling into the emptier spaces

looking for the lost of me,

begging the wonder…

and questioning why
it doesn’t come back…

is this a fate
of any person responsible?

Here sits this tome, pages upon pages,
now gathering dust,

like a friend, I wonder,
will I break a promise to myself?

Oh, Poet!

Oh, Writer!

O, promisor….

on this, the first day,
of the lean of your writes…

give credence to breath.

Walk away and rejuvenate!
See the sun Rise…
Feel the sun Set…

Immerse the wind
Float upon waters…

Touch the moon
Implode the stars

Read others, bleeding solace,
pain, or joy,
mayhap grief…
given remorse, sans life…

and know.

Just know.

For whom do I write this very
missive…?

For all that suffer
the unspoken…
and seek a truth…

Perhaps

for you.

This is awesome.

My perspective of me is different,

Than that of others on the outside,

We all face this from time to time, and I appreciate the share of a map to climb out.
Liked this very much. TD

Yes...perhaps there are others of us out here who know this feeling well.
Rest up dear poetess...but remember to smile.

And perhaps we have all been here in this
place called "STUCK"....  Perhaps...

What am I telling you this for,  for you
are writing fine....I suspect that there
are other writings that may be suffering
as well...i.e. prose...

Yeah,  I agree with TD...a map perhaps?

Perhaps~ is a word I adore. It doesn't lend promise, just hope, and simple gesture of maybe, yes, maybe no, but perhaps, if all is right...In an unsure world you lend you, and you are right up there with the best.

Sincerely,
Reg

Sounds like a nice resolution...looking and feeling for ordinary things from a first time point of view.  Nicely done Sunshine!

WELL I didn't mean really just ordinary things, but things we take for granted. The beauty we can see everyday if we just look for it.

Thought I had better clear that up.

me again rereading u.

I'd go and check my mirror... but when I did that back in 2000 I discovered my face was missing and someone else appeared there in my stead. I'd like to know where exactly my face went but I haven't the time to look and who knows what I might look like now...

hay there girl, hope all is well with you and yours.
