The dismal day delivered no direction,
Appeared no escape from the heartless.
Their paths carefully wrapped in deception.
Purposely kept victim from perceiving the venom.
Eyes that upon realization…observed in wonderment,
The uncalled for cruelty disclosed.
These eyes beheld other past traumas,
Yet, fight less they become uncaring and hurtful.
For the one who looses is the rogue,
Who's objective lies not within any moral ethics.

a very deep poem...I am not sure I have grasped your intent...

There is something that speaks to cold violence here...well written.

This Diamond. This cold violence "luckily?" was not physcal but a well thought out head game destroying a great trust...which can be worse at times.  It is too bad some don't realize the great journey we are on...and choice to not see the light.
Nan.  I have seen a lot in my life, I have been through much but this last year makes it impossible not to truly see the evil that lies around us.  I am determined not to become cold and hard, BUT I shall not ever be as niave as before.  Take care.
