Someone once gave me
a round tuit.
I laughed at this little
cardboard disk
imprinted with the word "TUIT"
on both sides.

Flip a coin,
flip a calendar page;
someday we'll all get around
to it, to all those
old resolutions,
such as Let's Give Peace a Chance.

Someday I'll give you
a Round Tuit,
so you'll never be able to say
I just didn't get
around to it.
