Once again your chin falls into your hands
Wanting to do all the bleeding yourself
You thought no one would notice
Hidden beyond the drapes
Never fearing for your own
Now scared to death…for another

Giving your soul was never enough
Seems everything screams…"more" "more" "more"
As like a Jester, you juggle
Trying to catch the falling daggers
As if you really could

Hit your knees once again
Though you know your not worthy,
Trust you must,
that granted favors of your Lord
Will see you through once more

Inside you harbor
more than one should ever bear
God knows your gone
Now…will you forgive?

There was a powerful surge through this piece, I recognized the wave and the person drowning in it.  Sometimes, all we can do is extend our hand.  Well done. ThisDiamond
