More Grey than Blue Here yet again More Grey than Blue Can’t escape the pain Of loving you You fill my thoughts First and last Each day in flame My soul does bask I fell in love Perhaps a fool’s folly A life now lived Trapped in melancholy A heart once wrapped In a blanket of stars Now bleeds soft tears Cried from afar Still even now I welcome the glow With this flame eternal My way, you show I don't know where I'm running now, I'm just running on... ~ Jackson Browne |

Sometimes we can't help ourselves, love is long and gathers it's own tears. I'm in a pensive state on this last day and reflecting a bit too much...but I do remember my debut if you will, and you dear poet were the first to respond to me in passions. I fell in love Perhaps a fool’s folly A life now lived Trapped in melancholy EagleOne, no, falling in love cannot be "a fool's folly." Let's just think of it as "taking a chance." Your beautiful star dipped poetry always calls out...and Your poet dipped heart shines here. The memories are meant to be held and cherished and time never dulls their beauty, nor the longing to visit them for just an minute more... just as you have shown here.
