It's now time for another New Year,
Fifty two weeks to bug Balladeer.
Moderators with scissors to cut up my stuff
Watchin' you artists write poems and such.

Santa's getting unemployment,
Works one day a year, (he's a lazy old gent)
He wears strange clothing, he's ugly and fat
(No not Balladeer..he ain't got a red hat.

May this New Year bring, each one of you,
Blessings and health and prosperity too.
I'll visit here often, I hope it's quite soon,
How about Thursday?..say, some time before noon?
