Let's Remember The Little Children More This New Year |

I've wished to all of you a very Happy New Year Now reflecting upon past year, I can't help but shed a tear For all the little children, who so good haven't had I say another prayer, for them I feel so bad As I pray to God, to the One up above I ask for Him to protect all of them with His love My heart goes out to them, each and every one Oh how I wish, there'd been more I could have done If each one in our world, could take at least a minute or two Just think of all the love and good, we each one could do Thinking of all the clothes and food we just throw away Some children would be so thankful for, think of this, I pray If we have nothing to give, as money, clothes, or toys We could show our love to these little girls and boys Never knowing how much they'd appreciate even the smallest deed Some children have most everything, except what they really need We grown-ups, sometimes, in our lives get involved so much Forgetting that our children need our love and tender touch At times they need a hug, a listening ear or understanding word For some of them at home, a loving word is never heard As I'm thinking on this, I pray to God above This New Year, please help me to show more of my heart's love [This message has been edited by garysgirl (12-31-2002 10:34 AM).] |

Ah, those that give, get...and I tend to give a lot of hugs to children of ALL sizes...Happy New Year, Ethel...let's you and I make it a good year for a multitude, shall we? |

 (big hugggsssssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, I love children so much as I believe they are God's most beautiful creation and we are all children too and it saddens me to see so many without toys and beds and blankets and my heart goes out to them all we can all offer them love and caring!
