Vestment of a Sigh

A cry, a sear, a sigh, a tear
A prance nuance without a dance
A touch of art, a clutch at heart
A breeze that smart, a tease of dart

Without a worn you thorn our goal
You shut the door upon my soul.
The divot of your greenery
Showed a mirror I could not see.

A phantoms ride in mist of hide
A fantasy without abide
A thrust of lance in lust and speared
And with a puff you disappeared

I cannot ken the life of then
Nor can I den a life of when
I am a simple soul you see
And cannot sail upon your sea.

My ship is built a crew of two
A birth for me a birth for you

Dancing here...and smiling with the
innuendos and the inner rhymes...me knows
a few little ones that are going to join me
in the dance...

"A prance nuance without a dance"

Morning Sy!
This line is SO beautiful..
The entire piece is full of fantasy dance,
but this line...will dance in my mind all day!

Sy, it's just fantastic the way you can write these marvelous words morning after morning. And my friend, it's always a delight to have tea with you first thing. I look forward to you getting my day started.

Hugs, Marti

May love and light always shine upon you!
