CRAVINGS

How enticing,
Absolutely delicious.
My being quivers
In divine anticipation.
I lick my lips
To prepare myself
For such a treat
Forthcoming.

Wide-eyed and hungered
I lustily await.
I am quite wanton
With my needs.
In reckless abandon
My desires
Run away
With me.

Oh!
Please,
Please,
Don't go so slow.
Faster!
Faster!
I can't go
Much longer.

Thank Heavens!
We have reached
The glorious pinnacle
Of my cravings.

We have
Finally
Reached
The ice cream parlor.
"I'll take two scoops
Of Butter Pecan, please.
Thank You."

Thanks!

My perspective of me is different,
As I look out from within,
Than that of others on the outside,
Trying to look in.     ©spirit
