So tired, but she could never sleep
Watching the clock, the minutes, the hours tick away

Her heart exhausted, her mind constantly churning

Maybe sleep doesn't come as a way to quiet her mind

Without sleep, maybe her thoughts would have to tire

And her heart would finally be able to rest

i like the thoughts that sleep is being kept from her in order for her to sort out the thoughts in her mind first, and let them subside naturally, rather than going to sleep and being able to forget about them.

Welcome to passions, this is a very interesting first write, with more in it than meets the eye.
looking forward to seeing more from you!

lots of love, gemma xxxxxxxx

learning each day, for you and i, our paths have met, i've already learnt that you are love.
