A day gone by in a blur,
the day before.
A threat was made.
In dreams, we saw blood staining our hallways.
As that one kid,
the one no one cared about.
Decided to threaten our lives.
He was to take them one by one.
Blood stained hallways.
A high school tragedy.
Prevented. This time,
We were lucky.
Now hopefully we will not have,
A next time.

Such a tragedy is touched on here...the country has to come to grips with its paradoxes... it offers freedom of expression at the same time as allowing firearms to be widely available.Time to address the issue before the educational process goes to pot.My best to you in your awareness of the issue.

well, hopefully not, I'm sorry you had to go through it. Makes me worry about my kids.

yes, I pray there be no next time...

I'm so sorry you ever faced this.
Such horror...

A blessed new year to you.
Always, Alyssa
